On Relationship

Those who has been granted with physical beauty boasts about it and acts as if physical appearance is everything, then they complain about people who love them just for their physical looks. Our girls flaunts about their breast and thighs without thinking about the consequences, then beg for respect. Our boys steal other boy's partner and complain about being dumped for other men. We are asking for something we do not deserve, and recklessly do anything we wish and fears for its consequences.

On Society

We use smart phones that makes us dumb. We connect to the world by departing us from reality. We follow what everyone does to become unique then alienate those who tries to make a difference. We are living in an era where our goals contradicts our actions.

On Belief

We brag about God being good and act like evils, we teach God's love and forgiveness while we judge and condemn others to hell. We have atheists who brags about open-mindedness yet their entire knowledge was taken from Youtube Channels, non-believers who says believers are easily fooled yet they are gullible in many ways. Our youth doesn't practice what they preach anymore or perhaps they preach what they do not fully believe just to fit in our society.
The Youth: Expectation vs Reality
The Internet has created so many things and sped up so many work. It has become a major part of our lives that even the United Nations declared it as a basic human right. Just by imagining what internet is, anyone can have an idea of the future, of what it is like and what it will become. I am one of them, one of the people who hoped to see a knowledge-centered society because of the vast array of information that we can literally access with our fingertips.

Expectation

My entire teenage years was spent on Internet. Seeing the potential of this magnificent tool, I quickly assumed what my life would be several decades into the future. A world where information flows everywhere as everyone access it from all parts of the world, that's how I imagine the world at that time. The planet full of intelligent people who constantly shares their thoughts throughout the world. Where everyone is hungry to know something new, something rare since almost all knowledge is already available in the Internet. A life wherein at a very young age, most kids will have discover their expertise, interest and talents because of the vast amount of information that they can access, where each youth can proudly call their self as the hope of the future, who forges innovations at a very young age.

Reality

Wasted Potential, that's how I see the Internet and most of its users today. The Internet is so readily available that the word "stupidity" is just a choice now. Not sure about something? Go to Google and find the answer, that's how easy it is to cure stupidity. But as I can see today, many young potential chooses to become idiots instead of using the full potential of this wonderful tool. Instead of using every chance to become the best that they can, they choose to use this tool for other people to dictate what they must do, for others to define them and to limit them. Youngsters has been so gullible that anything a person with 100,000 likes says will be deemed as truth, that most teens doesn't care about searching for the truth using 30 seconds of their life while they can spend a day looking for the perfect quote to use as caption in their selfies.

I am in no position to dictate everyone's life, I am just here to remind whoever will read this post that you are wasting a beautiful creation of mankind, a tool that can unite us and free us from the shackles of lies and idiocy. Let us become what our ancestors envisioned us to be; the hope of this nation, this generation and this planet.

Youth's big mistake

Look everywhere and see what's happening, kids desperately asking for answer on why they have been cheated or why their partner didn't appreciate their efforts. Most people will probably see it in a way that it's the other people's fault, but not for me. Not for someone who sees the root of this problem.

First rule of relationship is to love yourself more than your partner. The simplest analogy here is that you can't shoot bullets more than what your mag can hold. Same with love. You won't be able to show love more than how you love yourself. Sometimes it may seem possible to love someone more than you love yourself, but how sure are you that it's real love? What if it's a desperation to fill those empty spaces in you and make yourself feel better?

Same rule applies for respect, especially to girls. If you're not showing respect to yourself, then how can you expect others to respect you as well? The same level of respect that you give in yourself will always be the maximum amount of respect that others can give to you.

Love is not that magical. It doesn't appear on someone's heart out of nowhere. It still has a logical part where only those who can love will deserve a real love.
What defines a writer?

Many has been asking me to write my own book, so that my criticism will gain credibility (which is very illogical). But then I asked myself, am I criticizing a writer or I'm just criticizing a self-proclaimed writer? You decide

I am reminding all readers that this article is purely opinionated, critical thinking is highly advised.

I love reading short stories since highschool, I can finish an entire book (Pluma) full of short stories in one sitting so I know what it feels like when you are reading a story written by a good writer. These people (writers) are really amazing, they write stories that serves like some sort of psychological projectors. As you read each words in their story your brain will start imagining the scenes as if you're really there, the way they write really matters, a detailed storytelling but not in a way that gives you an idea of what will happen next, just enough details to keep your imagination in its peak.

Then we have this flow of the story, where each seconds that you read the more it gets exciting, the feeling that you'll get mixed feeling of tense and excitement. Then you read faster, while you get more excited on what is happening, as you go nearer the end the more "so that's why!" moments, then you'll think it's already finished on that line, then you get more and you get really excited and then bam! you already finished an entire book. Now you enter the idle mode, where you don't know what to do anymore, you want to read more from that book, but sadly that's already the last page, and you regret that you finished it too fast.

But what makes a good story? Of course the unique experience that it can give it us. Unique in a way that a good book will surely give you a plot twist that you've never read before (which doesn't exist anymore on most "modern literature"). The writing style where you're already like "ahh this thing will surely happen", then some pages more and you're like "What the actual f*ck?! I never expected that".

But what about most of the short stories and novels today? Some titles are so shallow that it already revealed what the story is all about, then we have this repetitive chunks such as a Mr. Perfect that bumped into a very ugly woman and eventually falls inlove with her for no apparent reason. The story flow is so simple and so shallow that in each words you'll already predict what will happen in the end, and it's either you predicted it correctly or your prediction is a much better ending than what the "author" wrote.

So you judge my criticism, am I criticizing a writer or not? I would love to hear your opinion,
